NIGHTLIFE AND DINNER

WE KNOW WHERE YOU CAN CHIN CHIN WITH THE ROCKSTARS AND DO SOME SERIOUS DANCING.

At Club Venue you can be totally cool and party to a variety of subgenres of electronic music, but also go see gigs of awesome finnish and none-finnish bands. When you go to Venue, boredom is not a possibility.

The legendary heterosexual-friendly gay bar DTM has a reputation of being a venue for crazy but chic clubbing. Djs there play songs from mainstream hits to more underground stuff, depending on the night you go there. This glamorous club is always packed with hot guys and girls.

This is where the magic happens. At least music-wise! Tavastia is one of the oldest and most legendary live venues for rock music. So, make some space for it on your weekend trip to Helsinki!

Adams is for the crowds of you who are more into poppy sounds. Possibilty to eat before you pop does exist. Fantastic kitchen and music line up.

"For the youth whose motto of the night is "let us rave",     Playground or Kuudes Linja is THE place to be”, says Finnish healing music darlings Zebra and Snake.

*******************************************************

One spot every Fin totally agreed on, is Siltanen. Be it for iced coffee on the terrace or some night sessions, the spot is worth a “check it out” y’all.

*********************************************************

Nolla is a great place to hang, get dizzied up by good music and eat “Market Fish Soup” or “Nolla Burger”. They even have a home grown blog

********************************************************

Yes, a dish can be a popstar too. Especially with such a sexy name like “Pollo Limonello” at Bar9. Simple AND tasty kitchen.

********************************************************************

Enjoy your first drinks of the night at Ateljee Bar on the top floor of Hotel Torni. On the outdoor terrace, spectacular views will make your heart beat even faster for Helsinki! You can even watch the scenery while taking a poo!

********************************************************************

What’s better than a home brewed beer after a sauna visit or just before dinner? Get yours at Teerenpeeli, right next to Kamppi Shopping Centre. You may not understand the names of the beers and ciders, but that doesn’t effect their fancy taste!

********************************************************************

We are in love with Restaurant Day, where anyone can set up a restaurant or a bar for a day! Courtyards, parks and private apartments, it doesn’t matter where at! Stunning idea, we would love to bring to Berlin too! Tuomas Sarparanta made this amazing foto of people queing for the vegan bakings of Kallion Herkut!

An evening stroll in the wooden house district Puu-Vallila is just overwhelming for us city dwellers. Built in 1910, the district can be walked easily on foot. It even has a local pub called Pikku Vallila, so charming it hurts!

********************************************************************

Time for a “sparkling hour” at Baker’s! From 5pm onwards on Tuesdays to Saturdays, the restaurant serves sparkling drinks at special prices. Also the nightclub Le Bonk has happy hours that also include appetisers. Yeah!

********************************************************************

If you are in town in august, check out Night of the Arts, where city’s museums and galleries are open and bookstore, cafés and restaurants have special events for you! Also take a walk to Töölönlahti Bay, where the party continues. Definitely a highlight!

********************************************************************

Muru means sweetheart! It is a real darling restaurant: tasty, modern and of course easy to love!

********************************************************************

If you plan on drinking quite a lot, reserve a table at Salve first and eat the delicious fried herring with mashed potatoes and melted butter. The sailor’s pub hasn’t lost its style even though it exists since 1897!

********************************************************************

French Films bass player Mikael likes it sweaty, dirty and dusty. Regarding clubs of course! Lepakkomies has it all!
